KPOHRAROR CALLS FOR PRAYERS FROM CLERGYMEN FOR PEACE.... This Crisis Will Do Good

“We need to pray for God’s intervention for this to come to an end. This crisis will not do anyone any good but will only be a retrogressive point in our struggle for growth and development”..... Kpohraror.

Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council in Delta state, Comrade Kpohraror Emmanuel has called on clergymen in the locality to join hands with the Council Chairman, Hon. Godwin Adode, political leaders and traditional rulers in prayers to see how peace can come to stay in the local government.

This appeal became necessary, following the on-going killings in Ughelli North over the tussle for the ownership of the Ughelli main market by the two concerned communities of Ekuigbo and Otor-Ighwereko.

According to Kpohraror, “we need to pray for God’s intervention for this to come to an end. This crisis will not do anyone any good but will only be a retrogressive point in our struggle for growth and development”.

“We need God’s intervention at this time in point and there is need for everyone of us to join hands together in prayers in order to overcome this crisis so that God Almighty, in His infinite mercies, to show us mercy”.

Other stakeholders in the affected communities have also joined the Local Government Council boss to appeal to the warring communities to embrace peace and allow the traditional and political leaders to find an amicable resolution to the lingering crises.

They commended the Executive Chairman, Honourable Godwin Adode JP for his leadership and state manly disposition in the handling of the situation.
