6 YEARS ANNIVERSARY: Nani Lauds Okowa's Stewardship In Delta

....Scores Governor Okowa High On Infrastructural And Human Capital Development In Delta State.

The Executive Director Finance and Administration DESOPADEC Chief Barr. John Obukohwo Nani, the Aghwemutuwevwi 1 of Idjerhe kingdom, has lauded the six year stewardship of the incumbent Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

The former Member representing Ethiope west LGA in the Delta State House of Assembly, who spoke through the Aghwemutuwevwi  political forum (APF) Media Directorate recently, described Governor Okowa as a highly detribalised Deltan, with zero tolerance for corruption and sees beyond the narrow limits of ethnic sentiments or affiliations in whatever that constitutes the overall objectives or goal of Delta State.

This is an attribute that, without equivocation, distinguished Governor Okowa, the Ekwueme and Promise Keeper of our time; from amongst his colleangues, in carrying out, his assigned functions both from PDP National body, state and National responsibilities effectively.  

Governor Okowa, one of the founding fathers of the PDP in Delta State, is a grassroots politician, with great managerial ability and commitment towards fulfilling his campaign promises, yearnings and aspiration of Deltans, as being reflected in his prosperity for all Deltans/ empowerments agenda, which has in no doubt, impactfully peversed the entire state.

The Aghwotu of Idjerhe kingdom, Chief Barr. John Obukohwo Nani, is not a neophyte in the political equation of Delta state. He started his political career earlier before 1998 under Chief Ray Inije of blessed memory during which period, the then leaders, co-founded the party in the state.

Speaking during this interview, the EDFA DESOPADEC, ranked Governor Okowa high on human capital and infrastructural development, which according to him, cut across the nooks and crannies of Delta state.

While describing the Governor as a rare gem whose developmental strides, in terms of roads, primary/secondary Basic Education, Health/Hospital and tertiary institutions development, which according to him, is second to none in south south, Nigeria.

The former Commissioner for Environment, Delta State and being a foundation public relations officer of the People's Democratic Party - Delta State chapter, Chief Barr. John Obukohwo Nani, was emphatically happy over the enviable height, Governor Okowa's stronger Delta administration, had promoted Delta state to; talking about his numerous political achievements, appointments and the external influences, Governor Okowa's good leadership skills, had earned our dear state over the years. 

The former DTHA member later averred with confidence, that the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has all it takes and the capacity to lead our great party PDP to victory in 2023.

Nani also used the medium to congratulate the newly sworn in SSG, Chief Patrick Ukah, a former Commissioner for Information in Governor Okowa's first tenure and the immediate past Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Delta State.

The EDFA described Ukah as a team player who is always proactive in the discharge of his assigned official responsibilities, saying his  appointment is well deserved.
