REWARDING PERFORMANCE: APF's Grand Patron, Chief Nani Commends Okowa Over Golley's Appointment As Commissioner

 The Executive Director Finance and Administration DESOPADEC and the Grand Patron of Aghwemutuwevwi Political Forum (APF), Chief Barr. John Obukohwo Nani, has commended the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthure Okowa, for rewarding hard work in his appointment of Honourable Solomon Golley, under the People's Democratic Party, PDP.

This commendations follows the consideration by the Governor of Ethiope West LGA deserving of the Commissionership slot which may not be unconnected to the voting strength of local government, in the last Governorship Election in Delta State, where the LGA emerged as the third highest voting local government in Delta State.

The Aghwotu of Idjerhe kingdom, further commended the Delta State Governor for considering the choice of Hon Solomon Golley, for such a highly esteemed position as the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Rural Development, noting that it further confirmes the belief of Deltans on the ability of the Governor Okowa led administration, to finish strong.

He therefore described Golley's appointment, as a square peg in a square hole and reward for hardworrk.

The former House of Assembly Member representing Ethiope West Federal Constituency, in the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Nani, in his statement, reiterated that, with the appointment of Hon Solomon Golley as a Commissioner and, being a grassroots mobiliser, it has  become obvious that Ethiope West PDP Delta is fully ready, to deliver the next PDP Governorship Candidate, in 2023.

It should be noted, that the former Commissioner for Environment, Chief John Nani;a from being instrumental to Hon Golley's appointment, they have both shared common political ideology together as good friends, over the years.

Hence, Chief Nani, being one of the happiest politician on Thursday, treated all Ethiope West invitees to a grand reception at his Asaba residence, immediately after the swearing-in of Golley.

Nevertheless, the EDFA averred with inner contentment that, Golley's appointment by Governor OKowa is a confirmation of the fact that Ekweme, apart from being a true friend to the duo, has reaffirmed his legacy of a Promise Keeper, as reflective in the way  H.E OKowa matches words with actions, no matter the political intrigues that may have characterised the present day political dispensation.
