SHEIKH EL-ZAKZAKY'S ACQUITTAL BY FED HIGH COURT: IPN Shows Solidarity With IMN

The Indigenous People of Nigeria (IPN) requests that the law is respected and the outcome of the law as in the case of Sheikh el-ZakZaky and his wife should be respected.

Our reaction to the judgement as we have seen today is that the government should respect the judgement of the court and expedite the release of Sheikh Elzazaki and his wife. This is our demand. 

We further call on the government to change its tactics and realise that the people's interest is the reason for the existence of government, because without the people there won't be government. In fact, the people own the government. 

We once again reiterate that the judgement of the court be respected in its entirety.
