OMICRON: FG LAUDED OVER DECISION TO BAN UK, CANADA, SAUDI-ARABIA FLIGHTS INTO NIGERIA... Onuesoke Says Retaliatory Measure Is Applaudable

A prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has applauded the retaliatory measures by the Federal Government of Nigeria, in placing the United Kingdom, Canada and Saudi-Arabia on its COVID-19 Omicron Red List and banning of flights coming into Nigeria, from those countries.
Chief Sunny Okpako Onuesoke, an environmental expert and a strident voice seeking for good and quality leadership and governance in Nigeria, was a former gubernatorial aspirant in Delta state under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and has remained strong and vocal in his pursuit of a better society for all Nigerians.
Recall that the Nigerian Government had stated that it will place the United Kingdom, Canada and Saudi Arabia on a red list over the outbreak and spread of Coronavirus’ Omicron variant.
In further reacting to the measures, the administration of Nigeria's President, General Muhammadu Buhari said it will also stop airlines from those countries coming into Nigeria in retaliation for the three nations banning travels from Nigeria over the new COVID-19 variant.
