DELTA: Five Persons Feared Dead In Ghastly Autocrash

Five (5) persons have been reported dead in a ghastly autocrash along the Eku/Abraka road by Oha Secondary School in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

The accident involved an Ash coloured Lexus 330 with Registration number: TJK 203 HG (Lagos) and a dark green Toyota Picnic, a commercial vehicle with Registration number: KPE 778 AA.
It was learnt that the Lexus was on a very high speed going towards the Warri Axis when it experienced brake failure, lost control and rammed into the Toyota Picnic going towards Oviorie-Ovu Community and plunged same into a ditch.

The driver of the Toyota Picnic and four of his passengers died on the spot, Our Correspondent who was at the scene report.
The incident caused serious tension within the area as other road users stopped by to have a glimpse of the gory scene.
At the time of filing this report, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps were seen evacuating the remains of the dead victims while policemen who had also arrived, were seen trying to forestal any breakdown of law and order.
