EDDIE ONO-SORHUE HAILS OKOWA'S EMERGENCE AS VP CANDIDATE .... A Wise Choice By The PDP

Respected chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olorogun Eddie Ono-Sorhue has congratulated the the Governor of Delta state, Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on his emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP, for the 2023 Elections.

Chief Eddie Ono-Sorhue made this known on Thursday in a statement issued and signed by his media aide, Prince Emmanuel Onotevure following the party's announcement of the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, as the chosen running mate to its presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election.

Sorhue, while commending the pragmatic and focused Governor as the party's choice for Vice President, said the decision of the party was appropriate considering the loyalty, contributions and selfless efforts of His Excellency, Dr. Okowa in the building and quality execution of national assignments for the overall wellbeing of the PDP, his calm disposition, respect to other leaders of the party and the people in general.

Olorogun Eddie Ono-Sorhue, while congratulating the Governor, counselled the PDP to reconcile all aggrieved contestants and supporters alike towards actualizing the tasks and mission ahead.

"Winning an election goes beyond winning the primaries. It involves reconciling all parties especially contestants to forge a common front that is united, indivisible, focused on the set goal of winning across all divides." He said.

He stressed that the PDP remains the only political party with the required national spread to win election across religious, ethnic and political divides in the country.

He congratulated the PDP on its choice of candidates noting that, returning to power at the national level, is a done deal.
