The Coordinator of Association for Better Organized Nigeria League and Professionally Managed Teams, Mr Vincent Akinbami has congratulated the outgoing Honourable Minister, Youth and Sports Development Ministry, Hon. Sunday Dare on his investiture as Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by the outgoing President, Muhammadu Buhari as part of his handing over ceremony on Sunday, May 28.

Chief Sunday Dare was amongst the list of awardees of national honours released by the government on Sunday, as part of the transition to a new administration of the Presidential Government taking off on May 29.

According to Vincent Akinbami, the Honourable Minister, Chief Sunday Akin Dare came, saw and conquered in the sports sector.

The Minister, according to Prince Akinbami, worked assiduously during his time to ensure that the right things were put in place in all sectors of the Youth and Sports Development Ministry.

Talking specifically on the country's football league, Vincent Akinbami said the Minister, while in office, gave an order working alongside the NFF and other league boards for a stable football calendar, ensuring all leagues end in the month of May/June for normal football calendar of from the month of August to the month of May the following year.

The first major problem of our league was an unstable league calendar that was brought in, by the Interim Management Committee for the Premier League and gave a marching order for an alignment of our league calendar with other parts of the world so that our clubs can be well prepared for the CAF tournament and also, solve the intermittent movement of our players to other clubs during our league season.

Hon Sunday Dare is a man of action, who ensured that the best for NIGERIA sports was put in place and thus, take quick actions on burning issues.
