BREAKING: HOODLUMS ATTACK ALADJA COMMUNITY, BEHEAD ONE

Hoodlums on rampage have reportedly beheaded an Hausa indigene as they attacked Aladja, a Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The hoodlums, according to reports, also went away with the head of the Hausa man, a commercial motorcycle operator resident in the Community. 

Our Correspondent reports that the deceased was killed along College road in Aladja Community by the hoodlums who stabbed and shot him to death.

Other Hausa indigenes in the area are currently spoiling for a revenge with the hoodlums as indigenes and residents of Aladja Community scamper for safety.

The President of Aladja Community Council, Comrade Shell Okakotu GodFirst who confirmed the attack on Aladja Community, said the hoodlums are from the neighbouring Ogbe-Ijoh Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area.

Comrade GodFirst who confirmed the beheading of the Hausa indigene to Our Correspondent said, "They carried his head away."

When contacted for confirmation of the incident, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe said the Command was yet to get details as at the time of filing this report. 

It will be recalled that earlier in the week, our Correspondent had reported of the alleged shooting in the Aladja community by one Maj. Solomon Nwakwudu, serving with the Nigerian Army 3 Battalion, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area, who debunked the allegation, saying no shot was fired by him or any other person.

According to earlier reports, our Correspondent in a chat with Comrade GodFirst Okakotu stated that "the attack and shooting by Maj Nwakwudu who is also the C/O Company Police Post, DSC in Udu led to the death of one of its indigenes."

In a swift reaction, Major Solomon Nwakwudu in a telephone chat with Naij News Alert Correspondent denied taking sides with Ogbe-Ijoh people in the fight against Aladja people.

He also also denied shooting and injuring any of Aladja person during the clash by the two Communities.

"They had a clash with Ogbe-Ijoh people. They were shooting themselves inside the bush even before we got there. No single shot was fired. 

Maj Nwakwudu who expressed his satisfaction that Our Correspondent called to hear his own side of the story challenged Aladja Community to come up with the injured persons he shot and show him the weapon he used in shooting them.

"We did not fire a single shot," he stressed just as he urged the people of Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh Communities to trade their allegations amongst themselves.
