ILLEGAL MINING: HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS MINISTER MEETS DELE ALAKE

In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, especially with the vision of tackling poverty and reducing humanitarian crises across the country, the Honourable Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu has met with the Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, on ways to establish a working synergy of both ministries.

The working collaboration of both ministries, according to the Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Minister, Dr. Betta Edu, is very crucial to reducing humanitarian crises especially as a result of activities of bandits involved in illegal mining, which have led to humanitarian crises associated with internal displacement of many households.
