Nigeria's Minister of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu has called for the domestication of the Disability and NSIPA Acts.

The Minister made the call during the visit of the Chairman Conference Of Speakers in the state Legislature across Nigeria Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin. and key members of the Forum to her office.

The Speakers who were on a courtesy call to the Minister's office, stated that the visit to her office was to explore channels of stronger Collaboration between the Federal Government and State Government in areas of Humanitarian Interventions as well as Poverty alleviation programs.

The Minister used the opportunity to call for domestication of the Disability Act and the NSIPA act at the states, promising deliberate inclusion in her Ministry’s project implementation.
