DG NITDA GETS AWARD FOR EXEMPLARY ACHIEVEMENTS

In recognition of the exemplary efforts and achievements of Dr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, Director General of the Nigeria Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA recently  received an Award of Excellence for his undeniable impacts, resounding achievement in driving digital innovations and transformation in Nigeria.

Presenting the award is the University of Port Harcourt through its Centre For Information and Telecommunication Engineering.

The award was announced during the celebration of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day held May 17, 2024 while the award was presented to the DG on August 19, 2024 at the agency’s headquarters by Professor Bourdillon Omijeh, Director of Centre for Information and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Port Harcourt. 

Professor Omijeh gave the presentation on behalf of  the Vice Chancellor of University of Port Harcourt, Prof Owunari Georgewill.
