NIGERIA CONGRATULATES THE STATE OF QATAR ON ITS NATIONAL DAY

Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has extended his warmest congratulations to His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, as the country celebrates her National Day.

"Nigeria and the State of Qatar maintain cordial and mutually beneficial relations, strengthened through cooperation in trade, energy, investment, education, aviation, and humanitarian initiatives. Both countries also work closely within the United Nations and other multilateral frameworks to advance global peace, sustainable development, and south-south cooperation.

"On this auspicious occasion, Nigeria reiterates her readiness to further deepen bilateral relations with the State of Qatar, explore new areas of strategic partnership, and promote stronger people-to-people and economic ties for the mutual benefit of both nations.
