Top sources in Abuja has disclosed that All Progressives Congress chieftain from Delta state, Chief O’tega Emerhor, who was earlier today, picked up by the Department of State Services, DSS, has been released after his interrogation.

Villa sources say the APC chieftain, who was supposed to be part of a delegation of prominent traditional rulers and other top personalities that was billed to pay the President a courtesy visit, was picked up for questioning and therefore, prevented from being part of the entourage.

Emerhor, who was arrested alongside Engineer Sam Ajogbe, is yet to disclose the reasons for his arrest by the DSS.

According to sources, the arrest might not be unconnected with the fracas at the national Convention of the APC held on Saturday where his loyalists clashed with another group while the President was reading his speech.
