RESCUING KADUNA STATE: It Is A Task That Must Be Done Come 2033, Else We Perish.... Edward John Auta

Rescuing Kaduna state from its present situation is a task that requires taking personal responsibility to register for one's PVC, collecting the PVC, keeping it safe, committing to vote on the day of election and actually voting.

It requires putting one's thinking cap and voting in the right candidates and party. The candidates share a common vision of reuniting and repositioning the state for progress. 

It definitely requires voting in a governor who understands our diversity, and demonstrates sufficient will to carry along all sides and sizes; whose guiding principles are equity, justice and fairness.

*A governor that will make agriculture a priority by providing farmers with grants, loans, warehouses, and subsidy on major farm inputs like fertilizer, seedling, tractor services and other mechanized or semi-mechanized farming systems, among others. 

*One who will make education a universal right not a privilege for just a few.

*A Governor that will make the children of nobody attend KASU again.

We need a governor that will make the security of lives and property, the primary business of government as it should ordinarily be, by reaching out and collaborating with relevant stakeholders and citizens alike, to find common solutions to security challenges bedeviling the state.

One that will build and not destroy, gather and not scatter; one who is compassionate and not arbitrarily wicked. Patriotic and not treacherous.

It ultimately requires a governor that will be installed by the people, for the people, and with the people; one that represents a complete deviation from the status quo.

Fellow citizens, rescuing Kaduna State would require defeating Elrufa'i and all his imposed candidates for the governorship, state and national assembly’s elections.

This is the reason I support Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru for Governor (and all the other PDP candidates - for the presidential, senatorial, HoR, and HoA seats - in the state). Ashiru is the candidate with the right blend of skill, experience, and political will to rescue, reunite and reposition Kaduna State on the path of growth and development.

These candidates, together with Atiku Abubakar as President; God willing, shall work to make Kaduna State Work Again.
