New Minister To Improve Peace, Security And Implement Federal Government Initiatives in Niger Delta.

 

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Niger Delta Development, Dr. Shuiab Belgore, warmly welcomed the Honourable Minister, Ministry of Niger Delta Development Engr. Abubakar Momoh to the Ministry.

"Under My leadership, The Ministry Will Actively Work To Improve Peace And Security In The Niger Delta Region.... Momoh.

The newly appointed Minister for Niger Delta Ministry, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, has assured the people of the Niger Delta region of peace and improvement of security under his leadership.

Engr. Momoh who gave the assurance during his welcome address to the Ministry, assured that under his leadership, the Ministry will actively work to improve peace and security in the Niger Delta region.

He stated that, "These efforts are aimed to effectively execute President Ahmed Tinubu's initiatives and policies, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for the people of the Niger Delta Region.

The Minister, during the welcome ceremony held on Monday, August 21, 2023, in Abuja, emphasized his dedication to enhancing staff welfare and maintaining a proactive approach to achieving set objectives.

"I want to guarantee our collaborative effort with relevant stakeholders and government bodies to realize Mr. President's vision, particularly the East-West road project, which holds crucial significance in the region's development,"  He affirmed.

In a press statement signed by Ahmadu Chindaya, the Ministry's Head of the Press and Public Relations Department, Dr. Shuiab Belgore, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Niger Delta Development, also pledged unwavering loyalty and dedication among the staff to execute the Ministry's mandate, aligning with the administration's strategies for the Niger Delta region.
