AISHETU NDAYAKO HAIL ASSOCIATION OF SERVING AND RETIRED PERMANENT SECRETARIES,NIGER STATE CHAPTER .... Commends Association For Its Initiative In Mentoring Younger Female Civil Servants.

Permanent Secretary, Interior Affairs Ministry, Dr Aishetu Gogo Ndayako and Hajiya Salamatu Abubakar, Chairperson, Association of Retired and Serving Permanent Secretaries from Niger State.

..... Commend the Association for establishing a Cooperative Society to curtail the menace of dropouts of girl child from schools in Niger state, and enhancing social support to its member's social endeavours.


The Association of Retired and Serving Permanent Secretaries from Niger State have been commended for its initiative in mentoring younger female civil servants to aspire higher in their career.

Giving the commendation is Dr. Aishetu Gogo Ndayako, Permanent Secretary of the Interior Affairs Ministry when she received in audience, members of the Association, who were on a courtesy visit to her office.

Dr. Ndayako, in her address, noted that the Association’s laudable pursuit had changed the narrative that women are the architects of their failure.

In a statement issued and signed by Ozoya Imohimi, the Director of Press and Public Relations Department of the Interior Affairs Ministry, she pledged to replicate this kind of initiative in the Federal Service, to mentor younger female Civil Servants to reach the top of their career. 

Addressing members of the Association of Serving and Retired Permanent Secretaries from Niger State, Ndayako  craved to be an honorary member of the association.

She further commended the Association for establishing a Cooperative Society to curtail the menace of dropouts of girl child from schools in Niger state, and enhancing social support to its member's social endeavours.

Dr. Ndayako promised to do her best to support the association and also share with the association any opportunities at the federal level to ensure the participation of females from Niger State.


Earlier in her address, the association's leader, Hajiya Salamatu Abubakar said they were in the Ministry to felicitate with the Permanent Secretary on her new appointment and wish her success in her tenure.

The association also pledged to support the Permanent Secretary to succeed in her new assignment.
