TUNJI ALAUSA VISITS OGUN STATE ..... Assures State Governor Of FG's Collaboration To Realize Achievable Projects

Nigeria's Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa has expressed the commitment of the Federal Goverment to support the Government of Ogun state in the realization of its  intentional achievable projects, especially in the area of the health sector.

He gave this commitment on behalf of the Federal Goverment in Abeokuta, the state capital while on a working visit.

Dr. Alausa, while speaking to Dr. Dapo Abiodun, the Ogun state Chief Executive, explained the federal government's preparedness to support Ogun State in the area of health care delivery as one of the fundamental agendas of the present administration under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Assuring Gov. Dapo Abiodun of his desire to finish all abandoned Federal Government health projects, Dr. Alausa advocated for Unique Support from Ogun State to facilitate the uplift of Primary Health care Centers across the nook and crannies of the State.

He expressed the Federal Government's optimistism about increase in budgetary allocation through Basic Health Programme to meet up with Global Standard.

However, the Minister briefed Prince Dapo Abiodun about federal government approval to increase enrollment of medical personnel into health institutions and fast-track the Signing of Health Act bill for social welfare Parkage of health practitioners across the board.

In his remarks, Gov. Dapo Abiodun  congratulated Dr. Tunji Alausa for his desire to be part and service to his fatherland after his meritorious service years in the United States with a good track record in the health sector.

Prince Dapo Abiodun pledged his maximum support to the Minister by giving adequate attention to both federal and state health facilities within the state to achieve optimal primary mandate. 

However, Governor Abiodun appealed to the federal government to establish more health facilities and equip the existing one with capable health and social workers. 

He reiterated his administration  commitment to Health and Social Welfare of his people as the state is looking forward to getting more fund through federal Government monthly allocation in other to do more for the people to enjoy the dividends of democracy through health Social Insurance Program.
