The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies NILDS Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman has condemned the gruesome killings of some Forest Guards in Ogbayo, a suburb of Oke-Ode, Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara State.


This is contained in a statement issued today, 1st October, 2025 by his Media Aide, Mohammad Abdulkadri and made available to Naij News Alert in Abuja.


While commiserating with the families of the Forest Guards and other innocent residents who paid the supreme price, Professor Sulaiman described the gallantry displayed against the assailants as a priceless act of sacrifices in defence of the community and humanity.


He urged the residents to remain calm, vigilant, and resilient in supporting the Security Forces and the unwavering efforts of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdul-Razak Abdul-Rahman, CON to neutralise and smoke out the bandits operating in Kwara South and North.


The former Minister of National Planning prayed to God to grant the families of the Forest Guards heroes and other unfortunate residents who lost their lives the fortitude to bear the Unforgettable loss and prayed Almighty Allah to deliver our dear State and the country from the clutches of the criminal actors.
