Nigeria's President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has restated his administration's commitment to redefine the infrastructural landscape of the country as it aims to steadily improve road networks across the country.
President Bola Tinubu, through the Federal Ministry of Works which is lead by the amiable and hardworking Minister in charge of the Ministry, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, moves to decongest the decades long traffic challenges in Lagos state, particularly so, the Lagos Island and environs.
As part of the efforts of the government, the President, on Friday, December 12, 2025, directed that the completed 30kilometres of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway be temporarily opened to users in order to ease traffic congestion especially during the yuletide period.
